💡 Say hello and get to know me better a bit!

Hello 👋, my name is Krzysztof Krztoń and I'm a web developer, programmer and JavaScript enthusiast. I have around 10 years of commercial experience working with various web platforms and applications from news websites, CMSes and VOD services to various SPA applications like web video players and rich text editors ⌨️📹📖

Currently I'm working as a Technical Leader of CKEditor Ecosystem Research and Development Team in CKSource - the company behind one of the best-known and innovative RTEs - CKEditor 4 and CKEditor 5.

My journey with programming started when I was around 12 years old. That was the time when I had received my first tech-related book - "ABC of HTML language". It all started with a simple HTML, then more dynamic languages like PHP (Vallheru engine anyone?), JavaScript (jQuery at that time) and CSS. A little bit of ActionScript at some point too. After highschool I went straight into Computer Science studies on Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, where I did my master thesis, and started commercial work at the same time.

It all sums up to more than 16 years of coding, experimenting, fiddling with different technologies which I'm really proud and happy about as creating things brings me a lot of joy and satisfaction 🤩💪

Most of the stuff from my early years of coding is left abandoned somewhere on the backup drives (hopefully🤞), but the experience gained thanks to those projects lives on and helped me become much better at programming. There are also some projects still alive after 10+ years. One such project is a website about the Little Fighter 2 game. I spent a lot of time playing this game 🎮 and decided it was a good idea to create a website about it, you can see it on littlefighter2.com.pl (site in Polish). It's not updated anymore and doesn't use any cutting edge technology but has a sentimental value for me.

I'm mostly web oriented now, but also love to fiddle with stuff, especially when it comes to automation and optimization. I'm also a big fan of writing scrapers/crawlers (data, data, data!) and testing unconventional ideas with Tampermonkey.

Feel free to drop me a message and connect with me on LinkedIn.
